Quick and Easy Patriotic Flower Pots

Start with clean, plain terra cotta flower pots and saucers. Purchase flowers in red, white and blue. We used red Zinnias, Hawaiian Blue Eyes and white Annual Daisies for ours. Make fancy name tag plant pokes for your guests using index cards and wooden kabob skewers. Cut the index cards in half and trim the edges with pinking shears or scissors that make a fancy edge. Print the names on the cards, decorate accordingly, tape to the skewers and stick them in the pots. Add a flag and you're done!

Adopt any theme and change the colors and decorations you add to the flower pots to match your theme.
